1. TWILIGHT
The story is about Bella's lack of self-preservation and Edward's masochism. In the movie, Bella was played by Kristen Stewart, star of many top 10 movies and British actor Robert Pattinson, became the on-screen vampire. As for the other characters, Billy Burke, star of many top rated movies, who brought the character of Bella's father Chief Swan to the audience did a commendable job. The music, as in all top rated movies, in the movie is yet another factor hooking the audiences. From "Full Moon" by The Black Ghosts, who have composed for some of the top movies, to the romantic prom number "Flightless Bird, American Mouth" by Iron and Wine keeps the flow of the movie. The musical actor Robert Pattinson compiled and sang "Never Think" for the movie. Directed by Catherine Hardwicke, who has directed many top movies, Twilight might have received mixed response from the critics, but it was successful in impressing the fans.
2. COP OUT
The film has been written by the brother duo of Markand and Robb Cullen, authors of many top rated movies of Hollywood and directed by Kevin Smith, whose many movies have featured in the top 10 movies list. Cop Out is the only movie, among the many top movies in his career that Kevin has directed but not authored the screenplay. Jimmy needs fifty thousand dollars for the marriage of his daughter Ava, played by the beautiful Michelle Trachtenberg, star of many top movies.
Paul sets up a video camera inside a toy teddy bear to spy on his wife Debbie, role enacted by charming Rashida Jones, who has starred in many top movies. Dave, a robber played by Sean William Scott, steals the card and snatches Paul's favorite gun. Guillermo Diaz is Poh Boy, is the drug lord to whom Dave has sold the stolen card. Paul kills Boy, but the bullet pierces the card hidden in Boy's pocket.
3. Batman Begins
When Warner Bros., makers of some of top 10 movies of all times, decided to fast forward the dwindling fortunes of their Batman series, they choose Christopher Nolan, director of many top rated movies, who by now has established himself as a 'Thinking Director' with the success of Memento, one of his top movies. David S. Goyer, writer of many top rated movies, was chosen to writer this new Batman movie, but Nolan had a different idea. Bruce is shattered by the news as he wanted to kill Chill and in despair leaves Gotham city.
In his underground workshop, Bruce prepares Tumbler, his armored car and the armored suit.
Cane tricks Rachel to come to the asylum but a recovered Batman saves Rachel and she comes to know that Bruce in fact is Batman.
The anti-toxin prepared by Fox saves everyone. Batman catches Ra's on the subway train and Ra's is killed in the train crash. Gotham city is saved and Batman is now the idol of the citizens. Bruce takes charge of his company but Rachel does not agree to live with Batman although she is in love with Bruce. This idea is often used in top rated movies.
4. The Last Airbender
The film encompasses earth in the time when it has only nations - The Air Nomads, The Water Tribes, The Fire Nation and The Earth Kingdom. The Water Tribes are expert Waterbenders. The Fire Nation people are expert Firebenders. Zuko, in his search reaches the Southern Water Tribe to which Sokka and Katara belong. Aang embarks on the mission of liberating the Earth Kingdom Tribes from the Fire Nation forces. Aang is captured from the Northern Air Temple by Zhou, commander of the Fire Nation forces. But 'Blue Spirit', a masked savior rescues Aang.
Aang's group reaches the Northern Water Tribe and its Princes Yue welcomes them. The tribe is attacked by the forces of the Fire Nation led by Zhao. Aang transforms into Avatar and destroys the Fire Nation forces, liberating the Earth from their cruelties. This movie is for a heart connection. Aang portrayed by Noah Ringer, an actor who has done mostly top rated movies and is convincing here also.
Katara by Nicola Peltz, an actress of substance and choice top movies.
Iroh, Zuko's uncle. Princess Yue. Fire Lord Ozai, portrayed by Cliff Curtis, who actually is the backbone of many top movies of Hollywood.
5. Toy Story 3
The toys on arrival at Sunnyside are greeted warmly by the other toys who have Lots-O-'Hugging' Bear (Lotso), sure to be in the top 10 movies characters, as their leader. One of the toys in her room named Chuckles, exactly as the best friend found in the top movies, tells the interesting story about Lotso. Lotso, Chuckles and Big Baby who is Lotso's chief enforcer in Sunnyside were once owned by a girl named Daisy. Escaping through the garbage chute the toys reach the Dumpster outside Sunnyside but are caught by Lotso and his loyal toys who had beaten the Chatter Telephone to know about their whereabouts.
A garbage truck approaches and Lotso pulls Woody into the Dumpster. Lotso has found the emergency stop button and with Woody's help reaches it but doesn't push it letting the toys go to the incinerator. A garbage truck driver finds Lotso and ties him to the front of his truck. Barbie and Ken are in charge at Sunnyside and the toys are happy there. Bonnie's toys keep in touch with them by slipping notes in Bonnie's bag.
A 3D computer-animated movie produced by Pixar Animation Studios, Toy Story 3 completes the trilogy of Toy Story, all of them falling in the top rated movies category. Simple toys with their child like antics and emotions touched the inner chords of humans.
6. Pirates of the Carribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
Promoted to Commodore in the Royal Navy, James Norrington played by Jack Davenport, star of many top 10 movies, proposes to Elizabeth played by Keira Knightley, a star fit for top rated movies, daughter of Governor Weatherby Swann, played by Jonathan Pryce. On reaching the island, Will knocks off Jack and rescuing Elizabeth escapes but is chased by Barbossa and caught. On learning he is the son of Bootstrap Bill, Barbossa abandons Jack and Elizabeth on an island, destroys Interceptor and leaves for Isla de Muerta. Norrington who has been following Elizabeth rescues her and Jack. They turn to Isla de Muerta where Elizabeth helps rescue Will but Jack is left on the Black Pearl fighting Barbossa. Chasing on Norrington's ship, they ambush Barbossa and Jack and Will put the last two medallions in the chest thus breaking the curse. While trying to save Elizabeth Jack kills Barbossa and the crew, now mortals, surrenders. Will is pardoned and marries Elizabeth while Jack is successful in escaping to Black Pearl and his crew accepts him as Captain.
7. Iron Man 2
Produced by Marvel Studios, makers of many top 10 movies, this second sequel of the trilogy was planned well in advance by Marvel and the director Jon Favreau, director of many top rated movies.
Tony Stark is the CEO of Stark Industries and is busy managing the industrial legacy left behind by his father, the late Howard Stark. At the racing tracks of Circuit de Monaco, Stark defeats Vanko who has developed lethal weapons to kill him. Vanko fakes his death with the help of Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell), another defence contractor and rival of Stark. Robert Downey Jr., star of many top rated movies, successfully fitted into the screen adaptation of Iron Man and continues to do so in Part 2 with the upgraded version of his armor.
8. Robin Hood
On seeing Robin and his companions, Sir Godfrey flees. On reaching England, Loxley (Robin) informs the Royal family about King Richard's death and witnesses the coronation of his younger brother John, the perfect antagonist played by Oscar Isaac, the choice of many top movies, as the next king. King John proves to be a heartless king and soon imposes heavy taxes and commands Sir Godfrey to follow his dictate. The northern Barons, disturbed by the actions of Sir Godfrey, meet King John and agree to fight the French forces jointly if in lieu King John promises to honor their autonomy. Sir Godfrey's advances to Nottingham are warded off by the locals under the leadership of Robin but Sir Walter is killed by Sir Godfrey. Robin plays a major role in the victory and is also successful in slaying Sir Godfrey.
9. Lord of the Rings
In the present times the Ring is with Hobbit Frodo Baggins, enacted by Elijah Wood with a performance of top rated movies. Wizard Gandalf the Grey, played by Ian Mckellen's worthy of top movies performance, finds that the Ring actually belongs to the Dark Lord Sauron. Frodo forms the 'Fellowship of the Ring' with Gandalf, Elf Legolas, Dwarf Gimli, Strider a.k.a Aragorn the Prince of Gondor, played with aplomb like a top rated movies act and Boromir Steward of Gondor's son, enacted by Sean Bean with a strong top 10 movies act and they leave for Mount Doom.
Peter Jackson, who has been associated with many top rated movies projects, directs this magic oriented tale about a ring which has Dark Powers.
10. The Expendables
Ross takes the contract as Trench has a mission in hand. After a meeting with his contact Sandra (Gisele Itie), Ross learns that an ex-CIA agent James Monroe (Eric Roberts) is controlling Garza. After being expelled from the team by Ross, Jensen approaches Monroe and offers his services.
Ross and Yang contact the other team members and make plans to help their friend Sandra. Monroe suspects Sandra for giving the information about the palace to Ross. Garza revolts when Monroe tortures his daughter and is killed by Monroe. After fighting the palace guards, the team is able to destroy Monroe's helicopter. Sandra is rescued from the clutches of Monroe by Ross and Christmas and Monroe gets killed. Such a plot is often deployed for the top movies. The team returns to New Orleans and a reformed Jensen is taken back in the team by Ross amid lot of celebrations by the team.
